If you have outstanding bets or a remaining balance after registering for the BetGuard centralized self-exclusion program, we will process them according to the following regulatory rules:
Outstanding Wagers (Pending Bets)
The outcome of your active bets depends on when the event is scheduled to start relative to your registration date:
- Events starting in MORE than 24 hours: Any wagers placed on events scheduled to begin more than 24 hours after you are added to the BetGuard registry will be automatically cancelled, and your original stake will be fully refunded to your account.
- Events starting in LESS than 24 hours: Bets on events (or series of events) that begin less than 24 hours from the time you are added to the registry will remain active. These bets will not be cancelled and will settle naturally based on the actual outcome of the event.
Account Balance
Any funds remaining in your account, including those from cancelled bets or settled winnings, will be returned to you. We initiate an automated refund to your registered payment method within 24 hours of your exclusion.
Note: You do not need to contact support to initiate this return; our system handles the process automatically to ensure your funds reach you safely.
