If you’re accessing Betano through a browser on your mobile device, enable location permissions in the settings of the browser app that you are using to successfully geolocate and confirm your location.
Here’s how you do this on Mozilla and Chrome on your Android device:
First of all, activate the location of your device. You can do that in 2 different ways.
Option 1:
Activate it from the shortcut on your phone's drop-down menu
Option 2
Go to your Settings→Location→Turn it on
Next open your browser (examples for Mozilla and Chrome, but all browsers follow the same steps, with small differences). When you log in for the first time from a browser, there will be a pop-up message asking you to allow access to your location.
Mozilla
Mozilla will give you the option of remembering your choice.
In case you do not see this pop-up, or you clicked Blocked by mistake, please follow these steps:
Step 1
After opening your browser, go to the top right corner, where you will find 3 dots that will lead you to the menu of the browser.
Step 2
Go to Settings→Site permissions
Step 4
Find the option for Location, and make sure it is not blocked. In the screenshots, you will see how it is supposed to appear when it is on.
Step 5
Make sure you have permitted the browser from your phone settings. Go to your Settings→Apps→Find the browser you wish to use. You might need to click on "See all" to locate your browser.
Once you choose the browser you wish, check the permissions you have given it. In the following example, Mozilla was not given the location permission.
Step 6
After clicking on Location you will see some options. We recommend choosing the one that says "Allow only while using the app", or if it is provided by your phone, "Always Allow". You can also choose the option "Ask every time", but it might cause disruptions while using our page.
Chrome
Chrome will remember the allow access to your location option automatically.
