If you place a bet on a player market that shows the icon Golden Sub "" and the selected player is replaced during the match, the bet is automatically transferred to the player who comes in their place, maintaining the same odds and original condition.
The substitute must officially enter the match and meet the original market condition for the bet to be considered a winner. The original player's statistics are maintained and inherited by the substitute.
If the substitute is also replaced, the bet is transferred to the next player who enters, under the same conditions.
Example:
• If you bet that a player will score a goal and they are substituted without having scored, the bet is transferred to the player who replaces them. If that player scores, the bet wins.
• If you bet that a player will make 2 or more shots on goal and they make 1 before being substituted, the player who enters in their place inherits that shot. If they then make at least 1 additional shot on goal, the bet wins.
Which Bets Does The Golden Sub Apply To?
• Single bets
• Multiple bets
• Bet Builders (where allowed)
• Bets placed before the start of the match and during live play.
Valid Playing Time
The Golden Sub only applies during the 90 minutes of regular time of the match, including injury or stoppage time. It does not apply to extra time or penalty shootouts, unless the market explicitly states that extra time is included.
Cases Where It Does Not Apply
• The bet result was already determined before the substitution
• The bet was withdrawn via Cash Out before the substitution
• The substitute enters the match but does not meet the original market condition
• The selected player is not substituted
• The substitution occurs outside of regular time
Important
• The substitute player is identified by an official data provider (OPTA) and will be reflected on your bet slip.
• The substitute must have officially entered the match for the bet to be transferred.
• The “Substitution before halftime” offer does not apply in leagues where the Golden Sub is available.
The Golden Sub applies to all eligible bets placed from the date on which the functionality was activated on the platform.
